About:

Andrew Glennon is an Italian-American pianist, educator, and collaborative musician from Long Island, New York, recognized for his commanding presence and expressive depth. A graduate of The Boston Conservatory, he earned a Master of Music in Piano Performance under Grammy Award-winning pianist Michael Lewin. He has also studied with distinguished mentors including Sean Kennard, Tamara Slobodkin, and John Patrick Murphy.

As a performer, Glennon has appeared in venues including Boston’s Symphony Hall, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, and numerous recital halls throughout the United States. He is the recipient of first prizes in both the Boston Conservatory Piano Department Concerto Competition and the Stetson School of Music Concerto Competition. His repertoire spans the Baroque era to contemporary music, with particular interests in the works of Scriabin, Liszt, and Debussy, as well as a strong affinity for twentieth-century American composers such as Gershwin and Corigliano. Equally active as a collaborative musician, he has performed extensively as a chamber musician, accompanist and organist.

An experienced educator, Glennon has taught students ranging from young beginners to advanced pre-college musicians in both private and group settings. He currently serves as Lead Piano Teacher at Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts and as a Piano Instructor with City Piano and Strings. In addition, he has taught music history as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Boston Conservatory.

Glennon has participated in masterclasses with distinguished artists including Olga Kern, Anton Nel, Meng-Chieh Liu, Marina Lomazov, Enrico Elisi, and Spencer Myer. Through both performance and teaching, he seeks to cultivate meaningful musical experiences that combine technical excellence, artistic curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
